GATES McFADDEN (Dr. Beverly Crusher) plays the chief medical officer on board the Enterprise. She appeared in the films Star Trek: Generations, Taking Care of Business, The Hunt for Red October and The Muppets Take Manhattan. In addition to her tenure on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," her television credits include a recurring role on "Mad About You," a series regular on "Marker," and guest-starring appearances in "Dream On," "Party of Five," "The Cosby Show," "Mystery Dance," "Wizard of Elm Street" and "True Confessions." She resides in Los Angeles.
