INGEBORGE DAPKUNAITE (Hannah) makes her American film debut in "Mission: Impossible." The star of "Burnt by the Sun," the Russian entry that won the Oscar® in 1994 for best foreign language film, Dapkunaite is originally from Vilnius, Lithuania, where she trained and worked for several years on stage and in films and television. She has starred in over 20 Russian films. Currently a resident of London, Dapkunaite has also worked on stage with John Malkovich in two Steppenwolf Theatre productions: as Katya in "Slip of the Tongue" in London and Chicago, and as Marina Oswald in the Chicago production of Don Delillo's & quot;Libra," which was directed by Malkovich. |
