EMMANUELLE BEART (Claire) is one of the most popular stars in France. Beginning in 1983 with "L'enfant Trouve," she has starred in over a dozen films, including "Manon des Sources" (the sequel to "Jean de Florette"), directed by Claude Berri; "A Gauches en Sortant de L'Ascenseur," directed by Edouard Molinaro; and "Capitaine Fracasse," directed by Ettore Scola. She earned her first Cesar nomination for her performance in Yannick Bellon's "Les Enfants du Desordre" and her second for "Un Coeur en Hivers," directed by Claude Sautet. Her most recent films are Claude Chabrol's "L'enfer," Regis Wargnier's "Une Femme Francaise" and "Nelly et Monsieur Arnaud," again with Claude Sautet.
