TOM CRUISE
PAULA WAGNER
BRIAN DE PALMA

Producer PAULA WAGNER holds a BFA in drama from Carnegie Mellon University. She went to New York and acted on Broadway, off-Broadway and in regional theatre, including Yale Repertory productions. She is also a published playwright, having co-authored "Out of Our Fathers' House," adapted from Eve Merriam's "Growing Up Female in America: Ten Lives." After deciding she preferred representing clients to being one, Wagner spent almost 15 years as an agent, 12 of them as one of the film industry's top talent agents, guiding the careers of such clients as Tom Cruise, Oliver Stone, Demi Moore, Robert Towne, Val Kilmer, Liam Neeson and Kevin Bacon at Creative Artists Agency, where she gained a reputation as a nurturing presence in a difficult area of the industry. In 1992, she and Cruise formed Cruise/Wagner Productions to produce feature films. They are based at Paramount Pictures, where they are in active development on several projects.
