GARY COLE

Gary Cole once again stars as the head of the Brady household in "A Very Brady Sequel." Cole portrayed a Secret Service agent charged with protecting the President in "In The Line Of Fire," which starred Clint Eastwood and John Malkovich.

Cole, who currently stars in the CBS television series "American Gothic," received critical acclaim for starring as the ex-police detective turned radio talk show host on NBC's dramatic series "Midnight Caller." His extensive list of television work also includes appearances on "Twilight Zone: Rod Serling's Lost Classics" and "Fall From Grace" (which marked the 50th anniversary of D-Day). His television movies include NBC's "A Time to Heal," opposite Nicollette Sheridan, the CBS miniseries "When Love Kills" and CBS' "The Switch."

Cole portrayed General George Custer in the four-hour miniseries "Son of the Morning Star," and starred as Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald in the miniseries "Fatal Vision," as the infamous ex-Green Beret accused of murdering his wife and children. Other television credits include the movies-of-the-week "Vital Signs," "Those She Left Behind" and "Old Man and the Sea," opposite Anthony Quinn.

A theatre major at Illinois State University, Cole left school after his third year to devote his time to acting. Moving to Chicago, he helped form the Remains Theatre and went on to become an ensemble member at the highly respected Steppenwolf Theatre. Cole starred in a production of "Death and the Maiden" at the Steppenwolf Theatre, as well as the theatre's productions of "Cat on A Hot Tin Roof," "Bang," "Philadelphia Here I Come!," "Balm in Gilead," "And a Nightingale Sang" and "Speed the Plow." Cole also starred in the New York productions of "Orphans" and "True West."
